Requirements

Plumbing & Fitting Superintendent: This is where you come in. 

We’re looking for a Plumbing & Fitting Superintendent to build a team of General Foreman and Foreman to manage and operate the quick turn and long-term field execution management teams. You will build strong relationships with the union hiring hall / dispatchers to ensure adequate labor needs can be supplied as our teams continue to grow in the region. You should be able to assist with the growth of the skills sets for our Foreperson teams to manage the core business HVAC/Plumbing projects we target with our general contractor partners. In return for achieving aggressive goals, you’ll get rewarded with more to own, a ton of growth opportunities, and more freedom than you’ve probably ever had.   

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero: 

  • Provide support and timely collaboration with the NC/CSP/SSP/HC sales staff as needed to ensure proposals capture and incorporate field input 
  • Exemplify and set the expectation that all projects are executed with the priority of safety first, quality second, and production third. 
  • Develop and Set target goals specific for Foreman and oversee and measure their success and ability to execute the project regarding safety, quality, and production standards. 
  • Inform and consult with the INW Operations Manager of major hiring and/or layoff decisions associated with MMFS employees under Superintendents supervision. 
  • Develop high-level Logistical Plans with the INW Operations Manager to support workflows associated with various local, regional, and statewide plans to meet our varying client needs. 

The Plumbing & Fitting Superintendent role reports to Mike Reichert - INW Operations Manager on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization. 

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role? 

You should have… 

  • A track record of a deep understanding of the various system installation requirements we install as an HVAC/Plumbing contractor. 
  • Expertise leveraging a working knowledge of Design Build Projects and ability to interpret the requirements for Plan Spec Projects. 
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings related to their trade and associated trades.  
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting Specifications associated with our projects

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits are set by Local Union Contract. MMFS offers a PTO Program. 

Where you will work 

This role will be based out of our Kennewick office located at 106010 Wiser Pkwy Suite B, Kennewick, WA 99338. However you will be expected to commute to various job sites in the area.
