Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery by performing pre-operative assessments and ensuring proper documentation.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery.
- Administer medications and fluids as directed by the physician.
- Assist with patient positioning and ensure a sterile surgical environment.
- Provide post-operative care and monitoring to patients, including pain management and wound care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques.
