Olympic Sports and Spine (OSS) is seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a joint-venture between Olympic Sports and Spine Rehabilitation and MultiCare, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a supportive and patient-centered environment. With a commitment to helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life, OSS is a leader in occupational therapy services in the South Puget Sound region.

As an Occupational Therapist at Olympic Sports and Spine, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and conditions to develop personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess patients' functional abilities, develop goals, and implement evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Develop individualized treatment goals and plans based on patients' needs and preferences
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and activities to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
  • Instruct and educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy through continued professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based interventions
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
