Mental Health Therapist Contractor

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team at our esteemed medical facility. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide vital counseling and therapy services to individuals, groups, and families. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, accurately diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing personalized treatment plans. Through leading therapy sessions, you will empower patients to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes in their lives. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring holistic and integrated care for our patients. Responsibilities

• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
• Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
• Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
• Involve and advise family members when appropriate

Schedule: At XD Health, our mission is to support not only our clients but our providers. We work diligently to work around your schedule, providing night and weekend appointment times. As a contractor you may update your availability regularly and can accept or decline clients to best suit your schedule. Services are provided through telehealth or at our local office located in Tacoma utilizing our shared office space.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

This contractor position will be paid on a fee for service model. Pay periods are from the 1st of the month to the 13th and the 14th to the end of the month, with monthly paydays on the 15th.

The fee for service for outpatient therapy is $100 an hour, billed in 15-minute increments.

Onboarding stipend of $50 gift card, $50 stipend, annual training stipend $50.

100% reimbursement on approved items such as therapy posting boards (psychology today)

Requirements

• Education:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • Mental Health Professional or MHP as defined by WAC 246-341-0200
  Certificates or Licenses:
  • Valid independent clinical license from State of Washington (LCSW, LMHT, LMHC)
