About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Administrator (Contractor) to help run our warehouse and third-party fulfilment services efficiently and according to safety guidelines. Logistics Administrator responsibilities include supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation and also overseeing the whole restocking procedure from start to finish. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organised and understand the order fulfilment cycle. Ultimately, you will ensure our customers receive the right orders on time.The successful candidate will also be expected to coordinate with the Operations and Sales Operation team and may be required to assist with admin tasks when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Product (SIM/Device) inventory management (Bellevue office)
- Oversee stock levels in our warehouses and communicate orders with the procurement team as needed
- Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
- Work with Soracom Sales Team to collect and review forecasting numbers
- Product (SIM etc.) packaging tasks (Bellevue office)
- Shipments handling (Bellevue office)
- Prepare shipping documents (invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading)
- Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Input tracking information in Soracom ordering system
- Process orders through multiple 3PL services
- Inventory management at 3rd party logistics (3PL) services
- Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximise the quality of delivery
- Shipment requests at 3rd party logistics (3PL) services
- Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
- Import / Export Processing / Documentation)
- Coordination/communication with external multiple warehouse partners
- Management of incoming and outgoing mail/packages from the office mail room
- Manage the restocking process from start to finish, for both our Bellevue office and across our North American third-party services (3PL).
- Coordinate the creation of new alternative fulfilment systems/procedures, also via fetching new warehouse/fulfilment suppliers and training new stakeholders to adopt the Soracom procedures successfully.
- Must have reliable transportation to drop off and pick up at local courier locations
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week at our Bellevue office (during regular business hours)
Requirements
Key Requirement
- Work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Fluent in both written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic knowledge of Excel
Desirable Experience and Skills
- BSc in Supply chain management, Logistics or relevant field
- Work experience in a sales administration or similar role
- Fluency in any other language is a plus (Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, etc…)
- Previous experience working in the tech industry is a plus
