Local LPN/RN |Washington

Requirements

The specific requirements for LPN and RN positions in Washington are as follows:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Washington
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Minimum of 2 years of recent LPN experience
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software
• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and various shifts
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Registered Nurse (RN)

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
