Land Use Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Land Use Associate Attorney to join a thriving Real Property and Land Use team in either Seattle or Bellevue, Washington. This position offers an exciting opportunity for attorneys with 1-2 years of experience in land use matters to grow their careers in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on land use permitting and compliance issues for a range of projects.
• Collaborate with lawyers, consultants, and subject matter experts in areas such as environmental law, real estate, and project financing.
• Contribute to transactional real estate matters as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-2 years of experience in land use, with a strong foundation in land development or transactional real estate.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate permitting and compliance issues.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a large firm environment.
• Membership or pending membership with the Washington State Bar.
• A desire to work in the Seattle or Bellevue office.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized salary range: $205,000 to $330,000 (commensurate with experience).
