About the Role

A client is looking for a talented and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join their marketing and design team on a contract basis. While this is primarily a remote position, they are seeking someone local who can collaborate in person at their office about 1-2 times per month, depending on workload. In this role, you’ll assist in-house graphic designer with overflow projects, creating digital and print materials such as flyers, brochures, newsletters, advertisements, and other marketing-related resources. This is a part-time, flexible position with a workload that can vary month to month. Most projects allow for thoughtful planning and design, as quick turnarounds are rarely required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of print design principles and best practices.
• Experience in social media content creation and management.
• Familiarity with web design principles and tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in macOS; Microsoft 365 tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team.
• A portfolio showcasing your print and digital design work, including examples that are applicable to this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a graphic designer in a remote or freelance capacity.
• Knowledge of other Adobe design apps like Photoshop and Acrobat.
