Adhere to both the company’s Maintenance Organisation Procedures & Production Organisation Procedures, among which the relevant parts of the expositions, Material Control Procedures and especially Environmental and Safety Procedures.
- Plan and execute global stores in Everett location, including system implementation, layout and build-up of capability
- Management of Stores to ensure parts and tools are allocated to each as appropriate.
- Control and booking in of any incoming materials and tools into ERP and tool management systems.
- Ensure accurate Goods Inwards Registry to maintain inventory integrity.
- Ensure Stores inventory is managed and accurately reflected
- Creation of work orders, kitting of parts and release to production environment
- Control of materials and tools to be shipped out
- Determine priority items to ensure timely handling of incoming and outgoing parts both externally and within company departments.
- Ensure that outgoing Tools/materials are logged to ensure traceability.
- Ensure rejected tool and parts including suspected unapproved parts in Goods Inwards are quarantined and labelled as appropriate and are then raised with the appropriate stakeholder
- Work with quality inspector/production inspector to help resolve queries around potential non-conforming parts
- Responsibility for Goods Inwards and Logistics operations.
- Assist with audits as and when required.
- Ensure accurate Goods Inwards Registry to maintain inventory integrity.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in Goods Inwards.
- Manage Stores to ensure that calibrated tools are shipped for inspection as appropriate and to ensure priority planning of when this is achieved
Requirements
Experience
- Previous experience in aviation or materials/parts handling within an aviation store environment.
- Experience working within Part 21G production environment is a big plus.
- Have the ability to multi-task.
- Have knowledge on, and practicing of, human factors, human performance, and limitations.
- Demonstrated ability to work standalone.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to issues as they arise and provide solutions.
- Skilled in a range IT and software packages including ERP, Quality and inventory management systems
- Flexible approach to work and a high level of drive and ambition to help achieve the organisation's goals.
- A genuine passion for clean technology and a future of electric aviation
Specific Skills
- Certificate in Dangerous good handling and logistics trained.
- Experience in an Aviation Goods Inwards/Stores environment
- Knowledge of requirement of quality documents for incoming parts
- Understanding of Part21 and 23 and other relevant regulations
- Full US driving licence.
- Forklift qualification desirable
- Technical Inspection Qualification/Experience
Benefits
The wage scale or salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000. In addition to the foregoing base compensation, additional compensation and benefits are available to employees and eligible family members (as applicable) including the following:
