We are hiring at Alliance Enterprises for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team in Lacey, Olympia, Washington!
Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt
Experience: Intermediate to Advanced Level
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000
Department: Human Resources

This position will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resources department working from our office in Lacey, Olympia, Washington.

The successful candidate will live within commutable distance of our office in Lacey, Olympia, Washington, working in an on-site work model!
What your day will look like:
- Manage all HR inquiries and support all aspects for a group of subsidiary companies as it pertains to people planning, employee development and contract management
- Support and guide executives and managers on employee issues, including terminations, discipline measures as well as growth and training opportunities
- Oversee and guide all terminations and onboarding processes for the group of companies to instill high employee engagement and employee retention
- Operate within the HR Helpdesk system (Jira) to assist internal clients with administrative human resources support
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Perform regular audits of human resources files and records to ensure that all required documents are filed appropriately and in compliance with SOC2 requirements
- Handle HR paperwork such as offer letters, agreements, salary, and department changes, etc.
- Enter employee information into BambooHR (HR database.)
- Administer and process all performance increases/promotions and bonuses
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding process for employee movement
- Complete exit interviews for employees
- Assist in all shipping arrangements, including creating shipping labels and transporting to shipping facilities
- Maintain inventory of supplies; reorder as needed
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring processing and distribution
- Facilitate mobile check deposits, maintaining accurate records and reconciliation
- Operate the front desk (non-public), handling administrative tasks and inquiries promptly
- Manage incoming calls through the phone queue, routing appropriately
- Additional special projects as required
About You:
- High School diploma or GED required
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a similar related discipline is highly advantageous
- 3+ years’ experience in an HR professional role is essential
- 2+ years’ experience working directly with the leadership team in a Human Resources role
- SHRM-CP Certified a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
- A “roll up the sleeves” attitude towards problem-solving
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
- Legally authorized to work in the US
