Host or Hostess

Valle Dorado - a 15,000 sq. ft. Restaurant & Brewery is seeking friendly and organized individuals to join our team as Hosts or Hostesses! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere as they enter our establishment. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and efficiently seat customers while ensuring that their wait is comfortable. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will help maintain smooth front-of-house operations and a positive experience for all patrons. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide a friendly first impression of the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize restaurant efficiency.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about menu items, hours, and special events.
• Monitor the dining area to ensure guests are being cared for and that tables are cleared promptly.
• Provide assistance to servers and other staff members as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area.
• Assist in coordinating special events and private dining arrangements when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage reservations and utilize reservation software.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
