Full Job Description

Tree Hill Learning Center is seeking an experienced infant/toddler teacher to join our dedicated team. As an infant/toddler teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and care of the youngest members of our community. We provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers to learn and grow, and we are looking for a passionate individual who can provide the highest quality of care and education.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and independence.
  • Provide loving and responsive care to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom, including proper sanitization of toys and equipment.
  • Collaborate with parents and families to ensure a seamless transition from home to the learning center.
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress, and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers.
  • Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare setting, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of infant/toddler development.
  • Must hold a relevant degree or certification in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and other members of the community.
  • Exceptional patience, empathy, and the ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for infants and toddlers.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certification.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs and schedules of infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding, and nap times.
