Who you are:

The Director of Enabling Infrastructure will spearhead the creation and expansion of a new line of business, leveraging our proprietary internal IP and operational systems to develop and offer a platform for 3rd parties. This role is critical for transforming our internal technologies into a scalable platform that enables external partners to innovate and build their own products for our market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance, to drive this initiative forward.

What you will do:
IP Cataloging and Packaging: Catalog and assess our existing IP. Develop strategies to package and offer this IP to 3rd parties in a way that maximizes value and usability.

Partnership Development: Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential partners and early adopters. Work with these stakeholders to refine the platform and go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

Product Portfolio Oversight: Oversee a portfolio of products currently serving internal customers, ensuring continued support while pivoting towards a platform-focused model.

Strategic Vision and Execution: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the new platform business. Ensure alignment with overall company objectives and secure buy-in from key stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance, to ensure seamless integration and execution of the platform strategy.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Use this data to inform product and business decisions.

Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the platform and make data-driven decisions.

Innovation and Growth: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement. Drive the growth of the platform business through strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Requirements

We want you to succeed, so you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s or PhD / MBA degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record of building and scaling tech platforms.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Data Engineering, Data Science, IoT, and AgTech industries is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and drive complex projects to successful completion.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and collaborative, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Experience with global tech platforms and a track record of building successful partnerships.

Salary range: $180,000 to $220,000 base per year plus bonus

Please note that the base pay offered may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and experience, as well as geographic location.
