Full Job Description
City Wide Facility Solutions is currently seeking a Director of Business Administration to join our team. As the Director of Business Administration, you will oversee all aspects of our business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This position is responsible for leading several internal teams: Accounting, Human Resources, Training and Development, and Office Administration. This position will need to empower their direct reports to create a responsive administration team that supports our Operations and Sales teams as we all work toward client retention and growth. This position must be able to create a positive work environment that supports our core values and vision. This position is accountable for financial reporting, KPI analytics, planning, employee retention, customer retention, budgeting, staffing, and company objectives driven by the needs of the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Monitoring and analyzing financial performance
- Managing and optimizing vendor relationships
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
- Leading and developing a team of administrative professionals
Responsibilities in regards to Finance and Budgeting
The Director of Business Administration will have overall financial management responsibility including the review and approval of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting materials and metrics. S/he will oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow and coordination of audit activities as well as accounts payable and receivable. A key responsibility for the director will be capture key data and processes to leverage with the leadership team to impact our internal operations to improve bottom line revenue.
Responsibilities in regards to Administration/Operations
The director will serve as a partner to the GM/Owner on the organization's administrative and operational processes, with a goal of continuously developing and improving systems. S/he must annually evaluate and benchmark our General Liability/Workers Compensation insurance programs and benefits programs (health, retirement, disability, programs).
The director will also evaluate and improve City Wide’s information technology infrastructure, implementing new technologies to support key capabilities as required for future growth. Lastly, S/he will assist the GM/Owner in the implementation of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) Model and serve as the lead for the program.
Responsibilities in regards to Human Resources
The Director of Business Administration will also partner with the GM/Owner and the rest of the leadership team to perform the necessary due diligence needed to maintain our culture as we introduce new talent to our organization. S/he will be responsible for maintaining budgeted staffing levels, continuously improving the training program, ensure consistent accountability of all team members, as well as managing external interactions regarding Department of Labor (unemployment claims, employment verification, etc).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in business administration or operations management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business software
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent Interpersonal and team skills
