Position: Midlevel Debt Finance Associate
Location: Seattle, New York, Portland, or San Francisco
Direct counsel is seeking a midlevel debt finance associate to join a prominent law firm's Business and Tax practice group.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in debt finance transactions, including one or more of the following: syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, dividend recapitalizations, and asset-based loans. Familiarity with secured loan documentation and Article 9 of the UCC is essential.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of experience in debt finance transactions.
- Excellent academic credentials and transactional skills.
- Law firm experience preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong client service ethic.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Active state bar license in good standing.
- Excellent writing and drafting skills.
- High attention to detail and strong client relationship skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary:
The annualized salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $205,000 to $325,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
