Full Job Description
Quattro Consulting, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking Civil Engineers to serve on a potential effort supporting the Navy.
Responsibilities for this position may include (but are not limited to):
- Providing independent, timely, and professional civil engineering products, services, and consultation for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands.
- Performing design analyses and calculations for civil projects and preparing of final detailed working drawings, comparative cost analysis, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and project specifications for a wide variety of facility types.
- Conducting site investigation field trips to project sites, as required, to collect all pertinent data and refine or develop project scope by inspection of existing conditions and through meetings with sponsoring activity
- Developing complex designs and analyses utilizing advanced civil engineering software.
- Reviewing submissions for completeness, functionality, sound engineering practice and compliance with DoD and NAVFAC criteria, and other applicable codes and standards.
- Performing technical administration of designs, design management, and coordination efforts with other engineers and architects involved in multi-discipline projects.
- Provide post construction award services (PCAS) including review and approval of contractor's submittals to determine that they conform to the requirements of the contract drawings and specifications
This position is contingent on contract award. Multiple positions may be hired from this listing.
Expected salary range: $110,000 - $140,000
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
- Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:
- 11-20% / Occasional travel.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering, from a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process. Please visit the link for FAQs: https://www.dcsa.mil/mc/pv/mbi/gicp/).
- 5 years of experience in engineering design, analysis and/or consulting for civil engineering including all of the following:
- Direct experience drafting conceptual plans to guide future design.
- Direct experience analyzing facilities to produce planning products and services.
- Identifying project related strengths and weaknesses to support facility programming and long-range planning.
- Providing technical solutions for unforeseen problems in construction.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Quattro Consulting will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current, active secret clearance.
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Previous experience working with the US Navy or similar entity of the Department of Defense.
