We provide administrative and organizational services to simplify the processes of lead-generation, marketing, billing and collecting payments from patients and insurers. About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Data Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI to provide insightful and visually appealing data visualizations to support business decision-making. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights. You will develop a keen understanding of how the business functions & measures success, and work to deliver the right metrics and analytics. 

Responsibilities 

• Build, design, and develop Power BI dashboards to visualize data and enable better decision-making, with a focus on user interaction and design.  

• Problem-solve computational and analytic challenges by investigating the data, understanding the root questions, and coming up with alternative measurement strategies. 

• Utilize DAX functions to perform data calculations and create measures. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements and create effective solutions. 

• Coordinate with the Business Intelligence Engineer to develop semantic models for front-facing reports. 

• With support and guidance from the Business Intelligence Engineer, train end-users on new reports and dashboards, ensuring clear understanding of tools and a clean hand-off to stakeholders. 

• Facilitate process development and consistent training, evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations on improvements.   

• Maintain compliance to relevant laws and regulations regarding data privacy, particularly those pertaining to mental health information. 

• Develop strong business relationships with both internal and external personnel.   

• Develop and maintain documentation for data sources, data transformations, and report design. 

Requirements

Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science. 

• Proficiency with UX design, and proven experience in creating impactful data visualizations and reports. 

• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (PowerBI required), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks). 

• Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.  

• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g. HIPAA).  

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

• Strong attention to detail. 

• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.  

• Experience as part of a fast-growing company is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
