We are a business-to-business support service for independent mental healthcare businesses, which helps provider-members service a growing client base. We provide administrative and organizational services to simplify the processes of lead-generation, marketing, billing and collecting payments from patients and insurers. Our teams currently support over 1,500 independent mental health providers, who serve over 20,000 clients per week across 15 locations in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington as well as virtually via Telehealth.

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Data Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI to provide insightful and visually appealing data visualizations to support business decision-making. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights. You will develop a keen understanding of how the business functions & measures success, and work to deliver the right metrics and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Build, design, and develop Power BI dashboards to visualize data and enable better decision-making, with a focus on user interaction and design.
- Problem-solve computational and analytic challenges by investigating the data, understanding the root questions, and coming up with alternative measurement strategies.
- Utilize DAX functions to perform data calculations and create measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements and create effective solutions.
- Coordinate with the Business Intelligence Engineer to develop semantic models for front-facing reports.
- With support and guidance from the Business Intelligence Engineer, train end-users on new reports and dashboards, ensuring clear understanding of tools and a clean hand-off to stakeholders.
- Facilitate process development and consistent training, evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations on improvements.
- Maintain compliance to relevant laws and regulations regarding data privacy, particularly those pertaining to mental health information.
- Develop strong business relationships with both internal and external personnel.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data sources, data transformations, and report design.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science.
- Proficiency with UX design, and proven experience in creating impactful data visualizations and reports.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (PowerBI required), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g. HIPAA).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Experience as part of a fast-growing company is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
