Role Description
Until funding is secured, this is an equity-only, volunteer role for an AWS Administrator. The AWS Administrator will handle day-to-day tasks associated with AWS infrastructure management, including configuring, monitoring, and maintaining AWS services and systems. This role also involves collaborating with development teams to design and implement scalable and highly available applications on the AWS platform. We're looking for a commitment of 8-10 hours per week until funding is achieved. This work is remote only at this time.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining AWS services and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to work with development teams to design and implement scalable and highly available applications on the AWS platform.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices for AWS security and compliance, ensuring all systems adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, facilitating the deployment and management of containerized applications.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash, enabling automation of repetitive tasks and efficient management of AWS resources.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing time and tasks effectively without constant supervision.
- Relevant AWS certifications are a plus, indicating a strong foundation in AWS services and best practices.
