Full Job Description
FEFA LLC is hiring an Archivist/Records Manager in Bothell, WA, to support all phases of the records management lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting records inventories, developing file plans, and drafting records control schedules. This role is key to enhancing an existing records management program and introducing new technologies, best practices, and procedural improvements to maintain program effectiveness. The position requires detailed expertise in electronic record-keeping, including email management, digital imaging, cloud storage, and social media management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all phases of the records management lifecycle
- Conduct records inventories, develop file plans, and draft records control schedules
- Assist in enhancing and maintaining a records management program
- Introduce new technologies and best practices for improved records management
- Implement effective procedures to ensure program sustainability
- Apply detailed knowledge of electronic records management, including email, digital imaging, cloud storage, and social media
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant records management/archivist experience, or
- Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience
- The position requires full-time onsite work in Nashville, TN. A relocation bonus is available for qualified candidates.
- Must be able to reside in Nashville, TN and work onsite 100%. Relocation bonus would be available.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting records inventories, creating file plans, and drafting control schedules
- In-depth knowledge of Federal records management practices and electronic record-keeping (email, digital imaging, cloud storage, and social media)
- Must be US Citizen and ability to obtain a clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Records Management or Information Management (e.g., CRM, NARA Records Certification, AIIM certification) is preferred and considered an asset.
