Requirements

AR Manager: This is where you come in. 

We’re looking for an AR Manager to perform collection activities and maintain accurate records of past due accounts, collection efforts, and cash receipts. You will be expected to meet performance standards set by management and to comply with all company policies and procedures. As an AR Manager, you will also lead and mentor our existing team while creating a collaborative and productive environment. Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero: 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts receivable team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. 
  • Understand laws and regulations related to collecting past-due receivables, as well as contract terminology related to collections. 
  • Analyze AR data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Lead efforts to collect outstanding payments from customers and handle escalated customer complaints or disputes regarding payments. 

The AR Manager role reports to Jennifer Richmond – Controller on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization. 

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role? 

You should have… 

  • A track record of leading high performing teams 
  • Expertise leveraging GAAP and all laws or regulations to successfully complete collection efforts 
  • At least four years accounts receivable experience. 
  • Three years of management experience.  
  • Two-year degree, minimum, in Accounting or Business-related fields.

Benefits

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 annually
