Full Job Description

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society is currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of our organization by managing administrative tasks and providing administrative support to staff members.

Your responsibilities will include handling correspondence, managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining filing systems, and ensuring the smooth flow of information within the organization. You will also be responsible for assisting with budgeting, preparing reports, and handling other administrative duties as assigned.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain filing systems and databases
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Assist with budgeting and financial tracking
  • Prepare and distribute agenda and meeting materials
  • Take minutes and maintain records of meetings
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Provide general administrative support to staff members
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all documents and information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial tracking processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
