Windows System Administrator, Junior

RMC is hiring for a Jr. Windows System Administrator to support our government customers in Dahlgren, VA. The selected application will work with a team of highly talented individuals supporting a robust DoD Hosting environment. 

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in engineering systems administration with Windows server operating systems and services, including Active Directory, WINS, DNS, DHCP, and GPO’s.
• 1-3 years' experience with advanced VM concepts, including vSphere Distributed Switch (ds), Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vSphere Storage I/O Control (SIOC), VMware Network Virtualization and Security Platform (NSX), and Update Manager.
• 3 years' experience with providing SCCM/COM administration support in a mixed and growing environment supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2/2019/2022; Microsoft SQL 2012/2014/2016/2017/2019; Windows 2010+; RHEL 7x-8x; VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Experience working with PowerShell, Power CLI, and Windows batch scripting.
• Knowledge of multiple IT environments including server and cloud-based platforms.
• Knowledge and comprehension of secure build technologies, tools and practices of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).
• Experience with disaster recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP).

Certification Requirements

• Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent) or Level 3 (CASP, CISSP, or equivalent).
• Certification: MS Azure Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure (AZ-800) and MS Azure Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services (AZ-801) (Required to obtain certifications within 90 days of start).

Security Clearance Requirements

• Security Clearance: An Interim DoD secret security clearance is required to start. Applicant must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
• Selected applicant may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
