POSITION SUMMARY
The Vendor Data Analyst will be the enterprise Vendor Data Management lead and is expected to leverage industry best practices in structuring, cleansing, and managing the enterprise Vendor Master and related operational data in NetSuite and Salesforce. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders in the execution of any/all requirements related to Vendor Master data. The individual will be the Vendor Master data expert and act as the subject matter expert in all Vendor Master data matters. This is a hands-on functional and technical role and will work to resolve any/all Item Master data issues in partnership with cross-functional teams.

- Lead data cleansing efforts in Netsuite and Salesforce to ensure all Vendor Records and related data is compliant with Standard Operation Procedures, best practices and established internal standards.
- Enter all new vendors in Netsuite and Salesforce in accordance with determined SOPs.
- Establish, document, and enforce Data Governance process approval workflows, policies, rules, and standards.Lead
- discussions with cross-functional teams to identify issues, document key decisions, and lead data improvement initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain business requirements documentation including Standard Operating Procedures, user stories, process flows, data matrices, business cases, and gap analysis that reflects current state business operations.
- Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality issues through process control/ improvement and error detection / correction.
- Lead ongoing maintenance efforts of all Vendor Record information in Netsuite and Salesforce.
- Link data quality issues to business outcomes/value and serve as single point of contact for the implementation of cleansing programs and any associated end-user training.
- Query, extract, and combine large datasets from primary and secondary data sources to identify and troubleshoot data quality or integrity issues and interpret trends
- Develop and maintain data quality corrective action plans and drive cross-functional accountability.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

● Proven experience as a data manager
● Working knowledge of data governance and master data management industry best practices.
● Proficiency in the extraction and analysis of data.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university or 2-3 years of business- related progressive experience and/or training.
COMPUTER SKILLS
● MS Office Suite
● Google Suite
● Understanding and experience with NetSuite of equivalent ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software
● Salesforce
● Experience troubleshooting and managing ERP data quality issues, preferably in NetSuite.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
● Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
● Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
● Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
● Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
