Valuation & Financial Analyst

The McLean Valuation Services Group is seeking a full-time valuation services analyst who will work on a variety of engagements and assignments to support clients within a wide range of industries for complex valuation security and intangible asset valuations for financial reporting and tax purposes, equity incentive plans, transaction advisory, and litigation support. The analyst will perform the following responsibilities:

• Perform valuation analyses by incorporating financial models that include the discounted cash flow, public company multiple, transaction multiple, and option pricing model analyses
• Research and analyze companies, industries, competitors, and market data
• Prepare formal valuation analysis reports
• Conduct site visits and correspond directly with C-level executives throughout the engagement
• Analyze and publish reports that outline valuation related topics and trends

Requirements

• 4-Year Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• 1 – 2 years of full-time experience in Finance/Accounting or related field, preferred
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong analytical, problem solving, summarizing, and synthesizing skills
• Effective and clear communication skills with team members and clients
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting fluctuating deadlines
