Full Job Description
Commonwealth Dentistry is currently hiring for the position of Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive the best treatment experience possible.
Responsibilities:
- Interview and engage with patients to understand their dental care needs and goals
- Explain and educate patients on treatment procedures and options
- Assist patients in scheduling appointments and coordinating treatment plans
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance claims and billing processes
- Provide financial guidance and support to patients, discussing payment options and making necessary arrangements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless and efficient patient care
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Treatment Coordinator or similar role in a dental setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures
- Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset and ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
