Technical Writer - Government Security Sector

Our client, a leading government security agency, is seeking a Technical Writer to support their mission in international security and technology. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to critical documentation in a dynamic, high-security environment.

Hourly Rate: $44- $51

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and gather information from various sources to complete writing assignments
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Document product development processes
- Edit and standardize technical information from engineers and technicians
- Review and refine publications
- Manage document version control and approval processes
- Implement document standards and quality controls
- Create and modify presentations and data visualizations

Work Environment:
- Full-time, in-person position
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
- Located in Rosslyn, VA (relocation may be required)

Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience as a technical writer
- Mastery of English language, including grammar, structure, and punctuation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience writing technical documents for government or government contractors
- Knowledge of safeguarding classified information
- Top Secret clearance upon date of hire (SCI eligible)
