RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Product Manager plays a critical role in the success of the Common Application system by driving the definition, development, and roll-out of technical solutions. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to align product development with business processes, user needs, and organizational goals. Acting as a product owner within an Agile framework, the Technical Product Manager ensures effective communication, manages priorities, and supports the successful launch and adoption of Common App solutions.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

This role requires:

  • Candidates must live in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4-6 years of successful, progressive experience in a product management or related position working closely with modern web-based software solutions. 
  • Skilled project manager with a proven ability to scope, develop, track and accurately manage technical products, including deliverables, timelines and follow through. 
  • Strong problem-solving, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to build solid relationships and support among a broad range of people and positions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and diverse environment and take initiative in individual contributor work.
  • Strong organizational and demonstrated ability to effectively support and lead teams productively in a matrixed team environment
  • Demonstrated self-guided initiative.  



The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Agile scrum methodology as a product owner
  • Experience in higher education enrollment management 
  • A passion for higher education is a plus. 

PAY RANGE

$95,000 - $106,632
