Systems Architect Lead
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA, is seeking a Systems Architect Lead to fill a critical role on an application modernization project. This project is hybrid with occasional meetings in the DMV area.
Roles & Responsbilities:
- The Systems Architect Lead is responsible for establishing system information requirements using analysis of information engineers in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
- This role involves designing architecture to support current and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces, ensuring compliance with standards for open systems architectures, and evaluating problems in workflows, organization, and planning to develop appropriate corrective actions.
- Establish system information requirements for enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
- Design architecture to include software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- Ensure systems are compatible and comply with standards for open systems architectures, OSI, and ISO reference models.
- Evaluate and address problems in workflows, organization, and planning.
- Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- M.S. or B.S. degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
- Expertise in AWS, Appian, Table, Maria DB, Okta, and familiarity with IEEE OSE reference models.
