System Administrator (Service Desk Lead)

RMC is hiring for a System Administrator to serve as the Service Desk lead for an on-prem and cloud-based environment in Dahlgren, VA. The selected application will provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of an enterprise Service Desk,

Requirements

• Primarily responsible managing the collection and evaluation of service desk delivery metrics, and using these to provide meaningful changes to scheduling, monitoring/QA, mentoring, evaluating, and otherwise enhancing the performance of a remote workforce.
• Analyze daily, weekly and monthly operational metrics and make recommendations for streamlining processes, knowledge management articles, agent training, etc.
• Provide leadership in the role of Incident and Service Request Manager, responsible for full lifecycle (from triage, escalation to resolution) and for continual service improvements that align with and continually improve upon ITIL processes.
• Work closely with the Program and Government management team to promote a positive work environment and achieve the group goals.
• Experience with Jira Service Management for Incident Management
• Experience performing application deployments and rollbacks in an application server environment.
• Experience performing platform upgrades, including associated customer data migrations.
• Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent) or Level 3 (CASP, CISSP, or equivalent)
• Certification: MS Azure Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure (AZ-800) and MS Azure Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services (AZ-801).
• Security Clearance: An Interim DoD secret security clearance is required to start. Applicant must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Selected applicant may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
