As an integral member of the Financial Operations Team, you will ensure accurate Firm financials across several entities. You will work hand in hand with other members of the Operations Team to ensure activities are properly recorded in our financial books and records. Additionally, you will work closely with the CFO on corporate level finance initiatives including reporting and audits.
Finance responsibilities include:
· Prepare and disseminate commission statements while acting as the Firm’s main point of contact for commission related questions with both syndicate members and Firm sales representatives
· Work with banking partners to set up and maintain escrow accounts along with client user administration
· Process daily ACH and wire transfers as necessary across both escrow accounts and various firm operating accounts
· Perform accurate data entry into firm accounting and workflow systems
· Record daily cash transactions in General Ledger
· Perform monthly account reconciliations and G/L entries
· Record accounts payable and schedule vendor payments
· Create and send periodic client invoices and apply received payments
· Assist with annual financial audit and 1099 reporting
· Maintain official Firm books and records
· Provide support to the CFO in various capacities
Operations responsibilities include:
· Participate in escrow distributions and closings across all clients
· Create and disseminate Dealer Manager reports for Fund clients
· Record all client funding activity as well as daily reconciliation for all existing escrow accounts
· Adhere to AML processes and procedures
· Provide general operations support as needed

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree (major in accounting preferred)
· Experience with accounting systems, preferably Sage/Intacct
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· 3 - 5 years accounting or financial operations experience
