RMC is hiring a SharePoint Server Administrator to support our customer in NSWC Dahlgren VA. The selected applicant will provide application integration support within a fast-paced DoD environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for web application management to include, but not limited to, design, configuration and installation of new applications, patch management, performance fine tuning, and remediating vulnerabilities.
The selected applicant will be responsible for:
Administration of Microsoft SharePoint 2019 Farm hosted within DoD environment:
- Managing deployments and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint 2019 environments.
- Perform SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 2019 migrations.
- Support configuring and maintaining SharePoint Enterprise search, index configurations, and scheduling.
- Manage supporting Microsoft SQL Server in a SharePoint environment.
- Responsible for integrating Team Foundation Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Microsoft Project Server.
System Administration Support:
- Administering Windows Servers, Active Directory including ADFS, DNS, SMTP, Network Load Balancing, Windows Firewall, Event Viewer Performance Monitoring, and PowerShell scripting.
- In-depth knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS) and its relationship with .Net Framework, ASP.Net, Application Pools, configuration files, and how IIS handles user authentication.
- Provide Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning tools and completing DoD STIG requirements.
- Support installing and supporting Oracle Application Server, Rational Tool Sets, or Atlassian Tool sets.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED plus 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- Ten (10) + years’ experience in Information Systems Technology with a solid understanding of SharePoint and in-depth experience with System Administration.
- Ten (10) years of experience and knowledge administering and managing Microsoft SharePoint enterprise 2019 environment within a DoD environment.
- In-depth knowledge and experience installing, configuring, patching, tuning and monitoring enterprise middleware platforms to include large scale SharePoint and Microsoft SQL environments.
- Two (2) years’ experience with Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning tools, and meeting/applying DoD STIG requirements.
- Two (2) years’ experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server 2008-2016, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL 2012-2016, and Clustering of SharePoint.
- Two (2) years’ implementing Two Factor Authentication with Smart Card (DoD Federal Bridge) and implementing single sign-on to multiple MS Products behind a 3rd party proxy (i.e. F5, NetScaler).
- Five (5) years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing, mission critical environment is required.
- In-depth knowledge of Web Application Management by managing a multitude of web applications within a DoD Government Cloud, to include; large scale unclassified and classified 2019 SharePoint on-premise platform, Atlassian Toolsets, IBM Engineering Tools, etc.
- Manage performance, scalability, remediating vulnerabilities and overall health of the environments.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- A DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE or equivalent) or Level 3 (CASP, CISSP, or equivalent) is required.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator certification is required within 90 days of start.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
- An Interim DoD secret security clearance is required to start.
- Applicant must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Selected applicant may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

* Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $140,000.00 to $160,000.00 annually.
