Senior Web Application Developer
Systems Integration & Development (SID) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer to join their team. This is a full-time position and 100% remote role, but candidates but live in DMV area.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of web-based applications with a focus on user interface and user experience.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to translate design concepts into interactive prototypes and production-ready code.
- Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Some backend programming using C#
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the user experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design and web development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web applications
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in web application development
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with frameworks such as React or Angular
- C# programming experience
- UI/UX design skills and previous work on web-based applications
- Experienced working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Cloud experience, AWS is preferred
- UI/UX certifications, and/or classroom equivalent experience preferable
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
