Senior Web Application Developer

Systems Integration & Development (SID) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer to join their team. This is a full-time position and 100% remote role, but candidates but live in DMV area.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of web-based applications with a focus on user interface and user experience.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to translate design concepts into interactive prototypes and production-ready code.
  • Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Some backend programming using C#
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the user experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design and web development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web applications
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in web application development
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with frameworks such as React or Angular
  • C# programming experience
  • UI/UX design skills and previous work on web-based applications
  • Experienced working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Cloud experience, AWS is preferred
  • UI/UX certifications, and/or classroom equivalent experience preferable
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
