Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists and analysts to define and implement data solutions.
• Build and maintain data architectures that support business intelligence and analytics.
• Optimize existing data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Updating existing systems to accommodate new data sources and scaling solutions across platforms.
• Ensure proper data ingestion from manual and automatic data sources
• Support the development of new features in data models.
• Ensure data quality through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions quickly.
• Stay current with industry trends and adopt best practices in data engineering.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role in a large-scale data environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
