RP Professional Services is seeking a highly qualified Senior Analyst to support a federal agency.

Background: The mission of the Small Business Administration (SBA) is to help Americans start, build, and grow businesses. SBA was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the Federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise, and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation. SBA is responsible for ensuring the governmentwide goal for participation of small businesses in Federal contracting.

This position is contingent upon the contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Work on the entire application process for all GCBD cases to deliver a final recommendation of approval
• Analyze and review GCBD applications for relevance and quality to determine a recommended determination to SBA officials based on the supplied and required documentation and available research for each case assigned

• Process complex GCBD cases with expert knowledge of business structures, applicable regulations, and statutes.
• Escalate novel areas of regulatory interpretation to the Agency with sufficient explanation
• Review and analyze answers from GCBD Certification responses and make determinations
• Assist other contract support in GCBD cases to identify the correct business documents

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S without requiring sponsorship
• Must have an associate's degree or higher
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in loan underwriting or analytical review
