Secret Cleared DevOps Engineers (4 days remote)

This role requires an active Secret clearance

Leading Path Consulting is seeking talented DevOps Engineers to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work collaboratively with development, operations, and testing teams to automate and streamline processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of software delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company's infrastructure and systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Additionally, you will design and implement DevOps tools and practices to support continuous integration and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage the customer's infrastructure and systems, with a focus on automation
• Automate deployment, configuration, and management of virtual machines and containers
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system stability and performance
• Implement and maintain version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address infrastructure and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in agile development processes and provide input on system architecture and design decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and system issues in a timely manner
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure and system configurations

Requirements

Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance required, this position can hold a Poly!
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and Linux system administration
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK Stack or Prometheus
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud technologies
