Position Overview:

ITC is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer with extensive experience in Salesforce Integration via API, particularly to integrate with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in APEX and Salesforce Flow, combined with significant experience in pre-sales engineering. This role will play a crucial part in bringing our products and solutions to market, including demoing products to potential clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:­­

Salesforce Development & Integration:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications using APEX, Flow, and other Salesforce tools.
  • Lead the integration of Salesforce with external systems via APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Optimize and refactor existing code and solutions to enhance performance and scalability.

Pre-Sales Engineering:

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
  • Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations that effectively showcase the value of our Salesforce solutions to prospective clients.
  • Work with product management and marketing teams to bring new Salesforce-based products and solutions to market, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Support the preparation of technical proposals, including architecture design, technical requirements, and scope of work.

Public Sector Solutions Expertise:

  • Leverage your experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions to design and implement tailored solutions that address the unique challenges of public sector clients.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and security standards in all Salesforce development and integration activities.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and client services, to ensure the successful deployment of Salesforce solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring project goals and timelines are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on APEX, Salesforce Flow, and API integrations.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales engineering, including product demonstration and market introduction.
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce APEX programming, Salesforce Flow, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and best practices, including REST/SOAP APIs, and other middleware platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, PSS (Public Sector Solutions, and Experience Cloud.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and DevOps practices in a Salesforce environment.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (Preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (Preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Cloud Consultant (Preferred)
  • Any relevant Omni Studio Certifications (Preferred)

Clearance Requirement:

  • US Citizenship required
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Top Secret SCI Clearance
