Program Director (Virginia Based)

Our client a leading provider of care facilities for individuals with special needs in the Hampton Roads area, is seeking an experienced Program Director to oversee one of the homes. The Program Director will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 25 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of DSPs to provide exceptional care to our residents
• Conduct regular audits to ensure employee compliance with policies and procedures
• Identify training deficits and provide necessary training to new and current employees
• Maintain a strong management presence in the home/center
• Assist with administrative tasks and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Proven management and leadership skills
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Basic computer proficiency
• Flexibility to work occasional overnights and provide on-call support as needed
