The Village at Orchard Ridge - A National Lutheran Community is seeking a highly skilled PRN RN MDS Coordinator to elevate our resident care standards. This critical role demands a meticulous professional with a passion for enhancing long-term care quality.

As our RN MDS Coordinator, you will:

  • Oversee the comprehensive Minimum Data Set (MDS) process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Conduct thorough resident assessments and interviews
  • Manage specialized work with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Requirements

  • Active RN License in good standing
  • RAC-CT Certification
  • MDS Expertise: Proficient in completing and overseeing Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams, facilitate meetings, and mentor staff in MDS processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities to assess data trends and implement effective performance improvement initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, residents, and regulatory bodies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with Virginia state regulations related to nursing home quality assurance programs.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans
