We are searching for a completely dedicated physical therapist to join our skilled nursing facility, where we are dedicated to giving our residents the best care and support possible. Our goal is to improve people's lives by providing excellent rehabilitation services, and we are looking for a driven individual to join our vibrant team.

Job Summary: As a physical therapist, you will be critically involved in enhancing our residents' physical health and vitality. You will create and carry out customized therapy plans for each resident based on their particular requirements, enabling them to reach their recovery objectives and reclaim their freedom. In order to create a supportive and therapeutic environment, your knowledge will be crucial.

Salary: $90,000-$110,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Patient Volume: 7 patients a day. 35 patient visits a week
Patient Type: Adult Patients
Insurance Mix: Major Medical Commercial Insurances Medicare

Job Description:

·         Perform comprehensive evaluations of residents to determine their physical capabilities and treatment needs.

·         Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving residents' strength, mobility, and functional independence.

·         Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to address physical impairments.

·         Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

·         Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care.

·         Educate residents and their families on home exercise programs and strategies to maintain and enhance physical health.

·         Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and professional standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Virginia State license as Physical Therapist.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist,
• Strong manual therapy skills and training.
• Familiarity with EMR Software (e.g., WebPT).
• No disciplinary actions or board actions on license.
• New grads are welcome to apply!
