Performance Tester
Years of Experience: 3 years
Education Requirements:A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
Program Description: Create an end-to-end management perspective to ensure proper compliance and oversight of GI Bill programs, and the use of data and business intelligence to monitor and measure school and student outcomes.
Responsibilities:
The Performance Tester will:
· Participate in performance test planning, execution, and validation, capacity planning, and application performance management.
· Review the performance testing strategy, audit the existing NFR’s, and identify gaps in performance testing execution approach
Requirements
Required Skills:
· Understanding of performance best practices (e.g., JVM settings, Network Variability impact on Performance of distributed systems).
· Proficiency in JMeter, Neoload, Loadrunner, API’s performance tuning, AWS / cloud ecosystem, microservices platform performance analysis.
· Leveraging profiling tools (i.e. Dynatrace, OpenSearch, Splunk) to analyze and define performance characteristics of an application, recommend enhancements, and trouble shoot bottlenecks.
· Performance troubleshooting (heap dump & thread dump analysis).
· Application and infrastructure scaling analysis and recommendations.
