Full Job Description

[solidcore] is looking for a People Compliance Specialist  to join our HQ team. Our ideal team member will play a crucial role in ensuring that our human resources programs are compliant and efficient. The People Compliance Special would be responsible for overall onboarding for new studios, i-9's, handbook updates, compensation review and initiating all HR compliance auditing. The role will ensure the consistency and quality of core data entry and operational transactions for the company onboarding and all HRIS platforms. Responsibilities will span both compensation and compliance aspects, making you a key contributor to our HR operations. Let’s dive into the details:Located in vibrant Arlington, Virginia and reporting to the Director of People, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization with a desire to be the leader in the studio fitness space.

Responsibilities:

    • Serves as compliance lead on all compliance issues related to Human Resources including, but not limited to:
    • Identifying, investigating, auditing and reporting on all HR compliance issues, irregularities and violations.
    • People Compliance Specialists will oversee all HRIS compliance and compliance training in the field.
    • Work with IT to explore API integrations that enhance HR processes.
    • Prioritize an amazing employee experience by delivering value through HRIS compliance enhancements.
    • Continuously identify and resolve issues to enhance employee experience and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
    • Manage new coaches in training compensation updates.
    • Interpret and maintain federal and state wage and hour regulations.
    • Ensure that employee personnel records are in accordance and compliance to local/state/federal laws.
    • Maintains compliance of I-9 Records and E-Verification requirements.
    • Discreetly handle sensitive employee reporting or information.
    • Assist and collaborate with legal and other departments to ensure compliance related processes and matters.

Requirements

Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of proven experience in HR, specifically HRIS and HR compliance.
    • Knowledge of I-9 processes, EEO, OFCCP, HR audits and compliance, HRIS and APIs.
    • Able to influence and work in an agile work environment.
    • Proven experience in HRIS management, compliance, and system implementation.
    • Strong business acumen partnered with a dedication to integrity.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Degree in HR, Labor Relations or Business Management.
    • Experience with HRIS transition.
    • Compensation experience.
