Patient Coordinator

Commonwealth Dentistry is currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Coordinator. As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and smooth experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments
• Gather and update patient information, including insurance details
• Coordinate and optimize the schedules of the dentist and hygienist
• Reinforce the financial policies of the office and collect payments
• Check-in patients, provide necessary paperwork, and ensure completion
• Process payments and transactions during patient check-out
• Maintain accurate electronic records of patient information

Requirements

• Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
• Strong planning and organizational abilities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Computer literacy, including experience with dental software preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy dental office environment
• Previous experience in dentistry or healthcare is a plus
