Patient Coordinator

Commonwealth Dentistry is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments, including updating patient records and gathering insurance information.
• Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure the schedule is optimized for the dentist and hygienist.
• Reinforce the financial policies of the office and ensure that payments are collected.
• Check in patients using dental software and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.
• Process payments and transactions during patient check-out.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records for patients.

Requirements

• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Computer literacy, including experience with dental software preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy dental office environment.
• Previous experience in dentistry or healthcare is a plus.
