As a machine operator you will make batches of our adhesive product. This can be in our hot melt, solvent or waterbased department. As a machine operator you are responsible for the setup of the machine, which includes loading mixing and pumping materials. You are also able to do light maintenance and making sure that the area you work is organized and clean.
Our operators are involved in the entire process of the production. You will learn one area, and can then promote to operate other machines. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve
Requirements
Our Operators have a few things in common. They are very safety conscious and focus on the task at hand. They all work as a team to get the job done. And they know that a minor mistake creates a big issue for our customer and they will do everything they can do make sure that doesn't happen. They need to be able to do basic math, be able to show up on time (everyone works all shifts) and follow directions.
