Are you someone who finds true fulfillment in creating meaningful experiences for older adults? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you as a Lead Connected Living (Activities) Coordinator. At the Legacy at North August, our residents are the heartbeat of our community. As a Lead Connected Living Coordinator, you'll play an invaluable role in enriching their lives through purposeful programming and compassionate engagement.
The salary range is $18- $24 per hour based on experience. You will need to be available for weekend shifts.
What You'll Do:
- Design and facilitate a diverse range of recreational, educational, and social activities tailored to our resident's interests
- Collaborate with an amazing team to create an environment that sparks curiosity, laughter, and meaningful interactions
- Build genuine connections with our residents, learning their stories and what ignites their zest for life
- Coordinate daily activities for the connected living team, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., recreation therapy, gerontology, social work) is preferred
- Minimum of one to two years of experience in an activities or recreation role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication in English, both orally and in writing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with residents, staff, and families
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop engaging and adaptive activities
- Knowledge of activities, crafts, and programming for older adults
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and activity planning
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in working with older adults
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
