Laundry Attendant - 2nd Shift

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our client's team. As a family-owned staffing company, we are committed to connecting talented individuals with reputable organizations in need of reliable and skilled employees. The Laundry Attendant role plays a vital part in ensuring clean and fresh linens for the clients' guests. This opportunity is currently seeking candidates for a shift from 2 PM to 8 PM.

Responsibilities

• Main responsibility will be operating linen folding machines according to procedures and guidelines.
• If required, the candidate will also help on the washer and dryers.
• Inspect linens for damages or stains and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Organize and maintain a clean and orderly laundry facility.
• Handle and store chemicals and cleaning agents properly, following safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Pay rate to be $14 to $16 an hour depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a laundry role preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of linens.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify stains or damages.
• Flexibility is a must, working hours are 2 PM to 8 PM, 6 days a week.
• Ability to tolerate high temperatures as the facility can become very hot during summer.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
