Junior Visual Information Specialist

LAC Federal is seeking a seeking a motivated and talented Junior Visual Information Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in developing visual information and graphic art products for various platforms including print, exhibits, web-page design, digital audio/video, and online media. The candidate must possess knowledge in graphic design, be proficient in running graphic production equipment, and demonstrate proficiency in relevant software applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the development and design of visual information and graphic art products for print, exhibits, web-page design, digital audio/video, and online media.
• Collaborate with senior team members and other departments to create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the desired message.
• Apply graphic design principles to create aesthetically pleasing and functional visual products.
• Operate and maintain graphic production equipment to ensure high-quality output and adherence to project deadlines.
• Contribute to the design and development of digital media content including animations, videos, and interactive web elements.
• Stay informed on design trends, software updates, and industry best practices to continuously enhance the quality of work produced.
• Manage assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and consistency in quality across all visual information products.

Requirements

• Associates degree in fine arts, communications, graphic design or animation
• May substitute 3 years of highly relevant experience for a degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Production Premium or Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
• Demonstrated knowledge in designing and developing visual information and graphic art products.
• Understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Ability to run and maintain graphic production equipment effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
