Full Job Description
Junior Developer
Systems Integration & Development (SID), is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Junior Developer to join their team. This is a full-time position and is remote.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of software applications
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and debugging
- Front line of user support, document issues, work with more senior developer’s to resolve issues
- UX/UI design and development
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to enhance performance and maintainability
- Assist with documentation and maintenance of software applications
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree completed
- 0-1 years of experience in a technical role
- Understanding of software development concepts and methodologies
- Ideally some UX/UI knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is a plus
- Passion for learning and developing new skills
