IT Portfolio Senior Manager
Astor & Sanders (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider located in McLean, VA and is seeking an IT Portfolio Senior Manager. This is a full-time and remote position with occasional meetings in Ashburn, VA.
- Establish portfolio capabilities including data requirements, processes, roles, systems, and governance, and drive adoption across the organization.
- Lead the design, implementation, and adoption of investment portfolio management capabilities for business value realization, IT cost benchmarking, and TBM.
- Provide financial expertise for budget planning and cost reporting.
- Lead technical projects, manage scope, resources, risks, and costs, while also preparing reports to enhance stakeholder understanding of the IT Service Catalog and associated costs.
- Collaborate among IT leaders and portfolio stakeholders for resource demand planning, change management, and project pipeline.
- Adhere to IT project delivery methodology.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or related field, with 5-7 years of experience in a technology business management role.
- Ability to lead small to medium-sized technical projects and collaborate with stakeholders
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth in agile project/program management.
- Familiarity with IT project delivery methodologies.
- Ability to provide business and financial advice to executives and directors on business related matters.
- Understanding of core internal IT services and new technologies.
