Internal Service & Parts Advisor

Pete's RV is looking for a candidate to fill the hybrid role of Internal Service Advisor and Parts Specialist at our Chesapeake dealership. Our ideal candidate will work well in a team environment, have great communication skills and have a working knowledge of parts and inventory,

Responsibilities

• Act as an Interdepartmental support advisor, supporting the sales and service teams and technicians

• Create service orders with descriptions of repairs needed
• Code all jobs appropriately
• Schedule time needed for repairs and estimating costs associated with the repairs
• Order parts as needed
• Draft outgoing correspondence (letters, e-mails, memos) and reports (charts, tables, graphs, etc.)
• Provide clerical support, such as typing, filing, copying, data entry, and record keeping
• Accurately record issues and data into Dealer Management System
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the service order
• Follow-through to ensure that all work has been completed
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties, including cycle counts and yearly inventory
• Check-out parts for our Service Technicians
• Assist customer with parts and accessory recommendations and over the counter purchases
• Perform other duties as assigned

Full-Time

Pay: $18-$20/ per hour, based on experience
